Miles turn to be “millennials Prophet” since he friended by god account. He spend his day to help his new fb friends whom suggested by god account. At first he denied his mission but lately Miles start to enjoy it. To do his mission, Miles has a wonderful team along his side. Rakhes, IT genius who able track down and did some important digging through internet, and Kara, a journalist and also Miles girlfriend. They are really a good team and very passionate toward the mission. One day, kara invite Miles to have a dinner with her family. Miles already meet with Kara’s mother and her little step sister, but this is his first time meet Kara’s stepfather. An awkward situation happen when Miles got Kara’s step father as his new friend suggestion. Long story short, Kara’s step father has a problem with his Job. He did some illegal transaction as financial advisor and at the moment plan to run away because FBI already found about his crime. In this case, Miles struggling a lot whether he done his mission or stay out of it as Kara requested. Miles try to convince Kara that everything will be alright in the end just as another his friend suggestion, so they did what is right. But in the end Kara’s step father put in a jail. This ending make Kara and her family really upset and put her relationship with Miles in jeopardy. Some people said love is powerful, other said love is blind and weak. In my point of view love can be anything you want it to be depends how you see it and which source you choose. Love make you care and protective of someone, never wish anything bad happen to them. But people is flash and blood, they make a mistake. When this “mistake” happen we can either protect them by denied it and hide their mistake or bring light to their mistake and help them to overcome it by making right respond upon it. Never make a person as the source of our love, in most case we will end up disappointed and heartbroken, because they can make mistake. Choose love itself as our source of love, because He never fail us. Maybe in some period of time He put us in difficult circumstance that make us should choose between what right and what benefit, but when we keep attach to Him tightly and faithful till the end, He will deliver us. Never question his way, just obey.

Its easier when you main your own business and less concern about others. Just need to do your job as it should be, obey the order and follow the rule. But, often by obey the order it means we abundant humanity and somehow help to break the rule.
Storyline

When you spend most
your time alone, it will be so hard for you to being close with other even you
really want to. Just like Lona and Bennet they agree to work together after a
lifetime rivalry but somehow they still draw boundaries in between. Need time
and also “fate” that finally give them courage
to close the gap, be honest to each other about their feeling. Still the
man must be the leader, you know what i mean right 😉
The memorable scene
of this movie is when Lona deliver her argument in the debate finals : “ yes, we are robots. Let me tell you a story.
Getting into collage suck. I spend the last 18 years researching, writing and debating
both side of every argument, I can speak it 400 word per minutes and crump as
many fact as humanly possible into each
rythme before that buzzer off. I did everything I thought I needed to do and
what happened? It resulted in a big fat rejection letter. Fact over feeling
right? Is that a good idea? I might a lost, I am. Because may be i will be politicians or lawyer someday and this
Saturday will provide me with skill that I could not attend anywhere else, but
what if i unable to form a human connection ?!

Storyline
Bennet and Lona
menghabiskan sepanjang waktu untuk berdebat satu dengan yang lain. Hal ini
dikarenakan mereka adalah anggota terbaik tim debat SMA mereka. Lona bercita-cita untuk menjutkan
pendidikannya ke havard dan Bennet ke Yale, seperti yang dicita-citakan ibunya.
Untuk mencapai tujuan itu mereka harus memenangkan kompetisi debat nasional
guna memperbesar peluang mereka diterima dikampus impian. Mereka berdua adalah
orang yang percaya hanya dengan kerja keras dan fokus maka mereka akan mampu
mencapai tujuan. Karenanya mereka menghabiskan semua waktu mereka untuk
mempersiapkan diri dalam perlombaan tersebut. Bahkan mereka menjadi “anti” satu
dengan yang lainnya saking menghayatinya dengan kompetisi ini. Satu-satunya hal

Mereka sangat terbiasa dengan hari-hari penuh berdebatan dan kompetisi sampai
saat mereka berdua teryata kalah dalam kompetisi nasional dan satu-satunya
jalan untuk menambah kredit mereka adalah dengan bekerjasama dalam tim.
Regular high school prom movie with unusual ending. Normally after going through all the bad thing the lead actor will finally get the happy ending, but this movie choose to show different conclusion. #spoiler alert : lead actor did get the girl but he choose to be a friend because for him everything become so intense in short time and also he have to go to abroad for collage. A wise decision i think. He not dump the girl or reject her, he just want to start as a friend. He want to make sure that he do want it and able to handle LDR also balancing his relationship and his dream. My favorite scene from this movie is Cole’s speech after he being bullied right after the Prom :
“Exactly, you never do anything. Which is exactly why guys like Kane think it’s okey to torment us endlessly because there no consequences for their action. You stay their friend, you go to their party, they believe they have no blame for what you do in the high school. So Yeah, we ruin your night, so what! None of us committed suicide. We just want you to fell how you treat us, most of us just wish you like us, we even falling in love with you. We all grow up together, the only people in our entire life can say that about. And here we are using all this new phone communication not to bring us all together but to rip each other apart. Movie have been made for decade about how cruel we are to each other and we can relate just nothing ever happen. High school just a popularity contest but for some reason that’s not good enough so we created actual popularity contest, like prom king and queen to verify just how unpopular the rest of us are.”
Storyline :
Cole adalah seorang anak dari mantan murid terpopuler dan prom king di SMA. Sedangkan Madie adalah anak dari sepasang suami istri yang dulu merupakan “Loser” di SMA. Mereka bertetangga dan bersahabat. Saat hari pertama masuk SMA cole langsung dibully oleh seniornya dan mendapatkan julukan “tighty”. Maddie tidak pernah bicara lagi dengan Cole sejak saat itu. Maddie kemudian menjelma menjadi murid idola dan bersahabat dengan Marrisa, mereka adalah cheerleader. Tentu saja sebagai murid idola dia memiliki pacar seorang murid idola juga, Kane. Cole selalu memiliki perasaan untuk Maddie tapi Maddie tidak pernah menyadarinya, terlebih lagi setelah mereka terpisah kasta. Namun semuanya berubah ketika Marrisa menunjukkan jati dirinya. The story may be cheesy in the beginning, but it’s more complicated than it looks.
It does not good to dwell on dream and forget to live – Dumbledore, I think this quote sum this movie very well, Rafe has big talent in drawing and always put all his emotion on it and make it “his world”. He described as rebellious but the truth is Rafe just lonely after the dead of his brother, Leo. After Leo gone, its hard for Rafe to make a friend because he believe that opening up to people can get him hurt. Unfortunately, Rafe transfer to a school that banned almost everything to make their student focus on test called BLARR, including art. After the headmaster destroy his drawing book, Rafe committed to broke all the rule with his art. This rebellion not only a vengeance for his drawing book, but also a way for him to still connected to Leo. In the darkest moment in life, its easier to shut everyone out and denying reality. But keep acting like that will damaging your soul and also your future life.

“An Interview with God” such a speculative title. A lot people will disapproved and some of them will consider it as blasphemy. Can we talk to God? As I know, yes we can. We can talk to God through prayer. This movie try to picture conversation between human and God like an interview (because the lead actor work as journalist). At first I think this movie can be bad, but after I watch it, I feel really blessed. Below is some scene i personally like from the movie:
Interview part 1a
P : So, satan is also real?
“G” : yes, but frankly satan is overrated
P : Overrated? its funny how you put it
, how so?
“G” : He only have power to the extended you
give it to him
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak (Matthew 26:41). When we still flesh and blood, we have a tendency attracted to sins. That’s why we need to attached to God, so our spirit become stronger. In the battle between spirit and flesh, the one you feed is the stronger. When we fill our self with God’s word, maintance our relation with God and have healty fellowship, satan will never overpower us.
Interview part 1b

freewill exist? How we reconcile it with God will?
“G” : of course there is free will Paul, and everybody knows this is true. The entire foundation human law depend on the existing of free will. Try going before a judgement when you been charge with a crime, blame your action on God will, see how it work for you. This is mean every human act is matter of free will? of course not, No more you can use free will to grow back an amputated limp.
P : So stuff happen and God say “Hey man don’t look at Me”
“G” : No, you have to understand that My will and human free will are not contradictory. Because they are not two version of the same thing, but they do fit perfectly together. I design it that way.

This part is complicated yet has a lot of good point :

Related to – I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless i live; yet not I, but Christ lived in me: and the life which I now live in in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. So, we should involve God in every step of our life.

Do it with this understanding He must increase, but i must decrease (John3:30)

It is true God has a plan, but it doesn’t mean you just sit down doing nothing. We should do our part (to live, to struggle, serve God). Whatever you pick be ready to face the consequences.
So, when something turn to be bad and ugly, before you blame God for it. First, evaluate yourself, the choice that you make is actually God will or your will. And I know to assure which thing is God will isn’t easy, every person have their own journey and no one can really give valid note for it.

Knowing God’s will is important to live your life. But, not in every activities we do in life, God give common sense for it. For example : when you want buy pants, we will chose based on, how much the money you have, which colour and size match for you rather than which pants God want me to wear, the answer will really hard to find hehehe.

person asking assume that they are good person, which seems arrogant to me.
“G” : But Paul, bad thing do happen to some
very good people. It is a big question.
P : Yes, I know.
“why bad thing happen to good people?” – we assume when people become “good people”-doing good deed, spend time and money for people in need, become volunteer, have ministry, their live will free from trouble, save and sound. Because we use to believe that bad things mean punishment for bad people. So, when bad thing happen to people we recognize as good people we will wonder, why God let that happen. But, like said in the conversation above, its true “bad thing do happen to some very good people”. We can find the example in the bible. You certainly know the story of Stefanus (Act 6 :8-15). Also, most of apostle died due to “unfortunate event” ( they killed because they defend their faith). In my perspective, God allow it to happen for greater good or He has plan that beyond our understanding. No one really know it. One thing I know, God is love. So, when you can’t trace His hand, trust His heart. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, said the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not evil, to give you an expected end (jeremiah 29:11)
“Because its not really a question, is it? Its complain. What really mean, why badthing happen to me? And the person asking assume that they are good person,which seems arrogant to me.”- this line is really a lesson for me.

I mean literally in the end (doomsday) nothing more personal than salvation.

“G” :So, when I am ask you what do you think
it is, its only help me out to answer your question properly.
Its why we were here, right? you ask, I answer.
P :Okey, Salvation means different thing to different people. But I am Christian, so let me answer from that perspective. Salvation is returning to state perfection with the Almighty and absolution sins forgiveness.

“G” : But you aside step a thousand years of disagreement
over how you actually get there.

“Is Jesus enough for us to get salvation? yes, Jesus is enough. Only through Him we can reunited with God. But when people state that “I am with Jesus so I am covered”, what are they really mean? There is different perspective about this statement. Some people assume as long as I am Christian its mean “I am with Jesus”. For other people, “I am with Jesus” mean you have to be “holly person” – going to the church, get involve in church activity, go to bible study community, become a volunteer etc. And, other think that “I am with Jesus” means doing as much as good deed you can possibly done. So, which perspective of “ I am with Jesus” is enough to get salvation? None of them is enough. Matthew 13: 44 – Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid again, then for joy went and sold all that he had, and bought that field. “I am with Jesus” means we have to giving all of yours to be obedient disciple. Also remember this “So, then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold or hot, I will spew you out of my mouth (Revelation 3:16)”

Yes indeed, God mind is beyond human understanding. Also, His word speak personally to each people. So, we need His guidance to seek the meaning of His Word. Another challenge about His Instruction is doing it at the daily basis. His Instruction mostly unlikely to do, not to mention most people don’t know what the instruction is because they not read the bible daily. No offence, just a reminder (also to myself).
Bold :
Paul seem angry about this fact. In my perspective, because for him this “changing game” is unfair. What is the different between sinner and saint? Even if you are a sinner God will forgive you and you will end up in heaven. So why you have to follow the rule (the instruction in the bible). The basic question in this scene is “ is faith all it takes?”. Actually no, after you receive the Salvation. You need to do something about it – Faith without work is dead (James 2:20b). Also, in the last scene of this part of the interview it says : Faith isn’t something that you can just have because faith isn’t the goal. Faith is a process. The vow you take (accept Jesus personally) aren’t the end, it just the beginning. Take times and dedication, everyday. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; Ant to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacked these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For some an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our saviour Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:5-11). Somehow people seek a way with their own understanding. Theory that assume “ Jesus already die for you. To redeem your sin in the past, present and future, so whatever you do now, God already forgive you” – known as hypergrace. We need to understand and remember that Faith without work is dead (James 2:20b). So, faith without following the rule and instruction in the bible isn’t faith. Most people having hard time to admit their mistake even in the prayer. But, Admit our sins is the first step of repentance. Need a lot of courage and a lot more honesty for it.

“G” : So what do you want?

P : Oh that’s just perfect. See, this is
what drive good people nuts. We try to be good people, try to please you. And
when we need some answer, where did you go? Do you have any idea what that
feels being judge every single day? All
we want some peace of mind. But its like you… I don’t know some cosmic kill
joy!
“G” : Paul, you think salvation is a burden?
P : Yes
“G” : But its not. It’s a gift
Many people follow Jesus with their own reason but most of them believe that doing a good thing, follow all the rule will make their live easy, get anything you want, never being suffer. First thing first, God never says (based on the bible) it will be easy. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest unto your souls. It may seems like lovey dovey teenage love story but the storyline is really good. Really love how mature the boys when they receive the letter and how they approach Largie without make fun of her and truly respect her feeling even when they not feel the same way about her. There always a way to be polite in every situation. Beside, you need “catalysator” to realized your feeling or to give you a chance. Confused? Let me explain. Largie will never have agreement with peter if her younger sister not send the letter. Largie will never know if Peter wait her in hot tub if Lucas not confince her to go. Largie will never read the note from Peter if her little sister not save the note when Largie throw it away. Peter will never know how depressed Largie with the rumor if Christy never told him. But even when you have the best “catalysator” nothing will happen if you not treasure it and use all the chance wisely. The movie really worth your while to watch.
Storyline :
Lara Jane, dikenal dengan nama Largie memiliki kebiasan menulis surat cinta untuk semua pria yang dia sukai sepanjang perjalanan hidupnya tanpa berani mengirimkan surat tersebut. Untuk menghentikan langkah Josh, Largie kemudian mencium Peter, yang sebenarnya adalah pacar mantan sahabat Largie, Jane. Peter baru saja diputuskan oleh Jane. Peter melihat bahwa Jane sangat marah ketika tahu Largie menciumnya dan ingin memanfaatkan hal tersebut sebagai peluang yang menguntungkan.
